Community Health Advancement and Student Engagement (CHASE) is a mentorship program which aims to improve health through education.
It targets secondary students in socially disadvantaged communities by providing structured mentorship, health education sessions and community volunteer opportunities
High school students in Melbourne’s Western suburbs will be empowered to become agents of change for health in their community with a particular focus on non-communicable diseases.
The role of being a volunteer would involve: 1) Designing fun and engaging workshops and community activities 2) Mentoring secondary students 3) Improve health literacy in the Western Suburbs
